Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, I have spent most of my life here. After obtaining my Washington State Real Estate Sales License in 1973, I began my real estate career, and I've never looked back. Real estate excited me because it combined my problem-solving abilities with my love of helping others. By 1980, I was the sole owner of Ballard Realty, which I had founded. I concentrated on residential sales at first, but over time, I added multifamily and commercial properties as I gained more experience in real estate. Now I can sell all sorts of properties, including vacant land, real homes, and commercial building that are worth millions. The best thing about my career is that I have listed and sold a multifamily property on seven occasions. I sold 15 to 20 properties for one client. I also recently closed on these like-kind(exchange of properties) deals with 1031 exchanges. This allows owners to move from smaller properties to larger ones. This process is straightforward and has many benefits. I am a member of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service and the Commercial Brokers Association. I have served as a board member, including on the Rules and Regulations Committee. I also have experience as an arbitrator mediator. My favorite thing about my job is my passion for different kinds of properties. I have long-term relationships with clients. My commitment and track record have enabled me to create a solid referral system, and now I am selling to the second and third generation of my clients.
