I believe with conviction that there is an urgent need for leaders in the world. More people who are passionate, full of heart, and driven to DO something with their lives. I am not saying this because everyone has to aspire to the presidency, lead the masses, or change the world. What I’m asserting is that it is possible for people to consider their time on this planet as a unique opportunity. They could make a difference by doing something they feel is significant. The first thing that made me “come alive” was the desire to learn and practice Acting. I got involved in acting while in high school and was intrigued by it from the first day. Acting challenged and fascinated me, and it made me listen to others and have deep feelings. My passion for Acting could have ended with high school, but I made a conscious choice to continue pursuing it in college. While other areas of study would have been more practical and lucrative, Acting allowed me to select what I wanted to do for the first time. I took a gamble and bet my future on my dream. Today, I am a better listener because of the choice I made, have a better understanding of my emotions, and have the ability to connect easily with people from various segments of society.
