I grew up in Seattle. The objective of my PhD in Counseling Psychology at the University of North Dakota was achieved. I was happy to go home for the final year of my internship at the University of Washington's counseling center. While I have dealt with many clients, I welcome people of all ages and identities, but my specialties are more relevant for women, such as eating disorders and sexual trauma. Whether my client is a man or a woman, the common themes in my treatments are personal values, assertiveness, boundary setting, humor, and the search for meaning throughout our lives. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT). Aside from my job, I like spending time outside and skiing in the PNW.
