Governor Inslee has lifted the mask mandate. Because our staff are boostered up and vaccinated, we are implementing an optional mask policy. We want our clients to feel secure and comfortable. If you would like a mask when you come in, please include that in your notes or ask when you arrive. Clients should screen themselves. If you do not feel well or have a cold-like illness, please reschedule your appointment. Thank you for your understanding. We will notify you of any changes. This story is about how you look. At PBC, all styles and budgets are welcome. The goal is to preserve the legacy of cool people. Our best features- hot shaving, towel rinses, and excellent service- combined with modern cuts and friendly employees. The story began in 1932 when the Jackson Building opened on Jackson Street, 6th Avenue South, in Japantown in Seattle. The Japanese Americans in the Jackson Building were removed by Executive Order 9066 eleven years later and transported to Minidoka Camp in Idaho. When they returned, some to their own jobs, they kept their heads down and moved on. Our family of barbers also had a story. In 1948, the first barber shop owner in this space opened it.

The consensus is that Pioneer Barber is the best in Seattle. They excel in connecting with clients and producing exceptional haircuts, according to the reviews. The staff is competent, accommodating and communicative. The barbershop has a great, welcoming environment where customers can have a relaxing conversation or beers. People also appreciated the online booking feature and the rates, which they found reasonable. Many reviewers spoke highly of their cuts, with most being repeated clients. As such, these highlights paint a picture of a barbershop that surpasses anticipates and leaves its customers satisfied.
