For more than four decades, Stonington Gallery has featured contemporary art from Alaska and the Pacific Northwest, specializing in Native artists and cultures. Our displays consist of totem poles and masks, as well as boxes and prints by Robert Davidson and Susan Point. Studio glass is led by Preston Singletary and Raven Skyriver. Our gallery is situated in Pioneer Square and hosts rotating art exhibitions with openings at every First Thursday Art Walk, with full-time shipping and custom framing options available.
The gallery's visitors highly praised the indigenous American art displayed, staff's teamwork, welcoming and knowledgeable attitude, space magnitude, and unique pieces with high quality. These guests recommend that one does not miss visiting the gallery, with many being repeat customers who look forward to visiting. The warm, open, and shared attitude enriched the overall visitor experience, the availability of great information through the willing staff and the opportunity to purchase the pieces were outstanding. The gallery creates a space to enjoy unique, and interpretive art pieces away from the regular galleries, with its presence being an advantage in the region. This indicates a diverese response from the visitors.
