Vam Studios - School of Dance

VAM Studios was founded and is managed by Veronica. She has danced, instructed, and choreographed for more than 30 years. Veronica has prepared dance pieces for events from cabaret to traditional ballet. At least 10 years, she has been a Los Angeles Westside School of Ballet dance instructor. She has also taught at Cornish College of the Arts, Cazadero Camp for Performing Arts, Oakley Ballet Center, and Arc School of Ballet for Performing Arts, and studied at England’s Royal Ballet with Yvonne Mounsey and Rosemary Valaire at the New York City Ballet. Wayne Bascomb taught her jazz in Los Angeles. For the most diverse variety of available courses, many people come to VAM Studios, a Seattle dance school situated across from Fremont Library. Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Flamenco, Yoga, and other dance sessions are available for children and grown-ups. VAM's adult tap program's teacher is the renowned tap dancing teacher Mark Mendonca, who is in charge of the largest tap dancing class for grown-ups in Seattle. We offer a ballet course taught by Veronica Mendonca, who has danced worldwide and is a Pilates instructor, as well as classes for youngsters aged 3 to 18. We take a well-rounded approach to dance, including technique as well as mindfulness. Additionally, we teach our students how to maintain and build a healthy body and mind in and outside the studio.
