Customer 1: Jack did a great job redoing our garden beds! Our old ones were rotting and falling apart (literally falling over), and he worked to replace all the wood and even added some compost and fertilizer to help the soil quality. The location was a little tricky, because our beds are sloped along the side of our house, but it looks really seamless and well done. We got to plant our garden this weekend, and it was great having all new beds to work with! Customer 2: Jack did a fantastic job replacing our gate with a much more durable and long lasting solution. Customer 3: I worked with Jack to put in some fruit trees, a couple of new flower beds, some rain barrels and a rain garden. His suggestions for native, low-maintenance plants were fantastic. He worked really quickly and the results are so beautiful I've gotten several wonderful notes from neighbors about the changes! Customer 4 after owner response: There is no warranty or my problem would be fixed, I'm not sure what is being talked about. "Sorry, no guarantees." Jack is a nice guy, easy to work with, confident in his work. Patient. I was told at every step what is happening, why he chose to do it this way, and why it will definitely definitely work. After several weeks and fifty-five hundred dollars the one clear and singular drainage thing I hired Jack to do definitely did not work. Weeks of being repeatedly told with confidence "this will for sure work, I am positive" only to be told "sorry, no guarantees" when it failed to work without any way or ideas to fix it was a major sucker punch. Customer 6: Jack came out and did some fantastic work on the French drain around the house, got done before we got a big rain in and I was able to stand outside and watch it in action! Did some great work in pruning and removing landscape and has a wealth of knowledge on what to put in its place Customer 7: I was very pleased with the landscape project that Jack Knill completed in my front yard. He had a good solution for an area where the grass was not growing well and it turned out perfect. I have had so many compliments on it. Jack is very personable and nice to work with. Customer 8: Jack was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I reached out to him about building new fence and gates on two sides of my yard and replacing and patching up some old fence and a broken gate. I knew little to nothing about any of this, so his input and patient explanation were much appreciated during the planning phase, and he ended up coming in around the range of other quotes I got but for a MUCH higher caliber of fence. We hit a speed bump right near the beginning, when we were informed that I'd need to check with the city to make sure the fence could go where we had planned. Work had to be paused for about a week (through no fault of Jack's), but he was extremely flexible, and he came back to resume work within mere hours of me hearing back from the city. The job ended up taking about 6 business days (not counting the pause), which I found very impressive, given the fact that Jack did it all alone, and the end result far exceeds expectations. If my dogs ever get out of the yard, I'm sure it won't be through the part that Jack built! Customer 9: We reached out to Jack to help with our backyard and he truly went above and beyond. From start to finish, his attention to detail, professionalism, and creative solutions exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t be happier with the transformation, I keep looking out the window and smiling because I love our backyard so much.Highly recommend Jack for anyone looking for quality landscaping! Customer 11: Jack did an incredible job on my yard! My yard was difficult for me to manage. He carefully listened to what I wanted and Jack made a plan that fit perfectly with what I hoped for- low maintenance, some natives and bee friendly, less water consumption. Jack worked hard and my yard is now the coolest on the block. His rates are reasonable and he gets it done on time. He takes the time to ensure you know how to care for the yard and is happy to answer questions. Jack was even friendly with my dog. 10/10 would recommend. I now spend my time enjoying my yard, instead of struggling with it. Customer 12: We had Jack redo our entire backyard and have been thrilled with the results! Throughout the whole process he was patient and understanding answering all of our questions with in-depth knowledge. He helped us pick out the fountain, built the pergola from scratch, and even gave us a great suggestion for cutting the cost of redoing the patio with flagstone. He gave us great advice on taking care of the plants and trees and the results speak for themselves. We will definitely be using Jack again for future projects! Customer 13: We hired Jack to help transform our ugly backyard. He did such a good job that we hired him again several months later to transform our front yard. Multiple neighbors saw what he did and they hired him as well! Jack is very knowledgeable about all kinds of plants and gardens. What works well and how to grow and care for them. He was incredibly flexible when I changed my mind on a few things outside our original design. He listened to what we wanted to achieve with our yard and gave us just that!
