Our project involved building a pool pad with a retaining wall to create a perfectly level sand covered foundation. Because our pool holds 7,900 gallons of water—more than 66,000 pounds once you account for the water and people enjoying the pool—that retaining wall had to be built to withstand the tremendous weight and pressure, as well as years of splash-out and the elements. They even leveled the concrete pads that the pool shed sits on! From the very beginning, Dan approached the project with incredible attention to detail and professionalism. Dan’s team meticulously measured and leveled every aspect of the retaining wall, installed irrigation, and carefully compacted every layer of gravel and sand throughout the entire build. One thing that really sets Dan apart is that he genuinely stands behind his crew and their work. The day before our pool was scheduled to be installed, we noticed that some of the sand along the retaining wall had settled into a few small crevices. I called Dan, and he sent his guys out after hours that evening to make sure everything was perfect for the installation the next morning. They re-compacted those areas and even took the time to re-level everything, knowing that wild bunnies and other critters had been playing in the sand while we waited for the pool installation (I included a photo of the bunny butt prints that would have left dips under the pool liner.) They wanted everything to be exactly as it should be before the pool went in, and that level of customer service gave us complete confidence in their work. The two guys assigned to our project also deserve special recognition. They powered through a heatwave with an incredible work ethic, never rushed, and never cut corners despite finishing ahead of schedule. We were told the project would begin on Tuesday and expected completion was the following Monday, but thanks to their efficiency and dedication, they had the major work essentially finished by Thursday, with only final touches and cleanup remaining on Friday. Finishing ahead of schedule while maintaining such a high standard of quality is something you don't see every day. It's rare to find a company that combines expert craftsmanship, integrity, outstanding customer service, and genuine pride in their work. Dan and his team exceeded our expectations in every way, and we couldn't be happier with our pool pad. The quality of their work, attention to detail, and commitment to doing things the right way gave us complete peace of mind. When we're ready to tackle the rest of our landscaping projects, Dan will be our first call.
