Creative Home Technologies LLC Customer Feedback Summary Update 5/28/25: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE – We have canceled with them we have canceled with them numerous times and they will not leave us alone big rip off company. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS PLACE AT ALL, they turned my payment in late, they suck at communication, they cancel constantly we had finally after 3 weeks someone came to measure the window, the sales person lies about making the windows another company does that NOT THEM, Not to mention he guilted us into the whole thing. We tried to cancel because we are tired of the lies and untrustworthyness and we're told no. Now i remind you they haven't done anything yet not till spring so we are trying to cancel because they arnt trust worthy at all to add to it all we were told all we had to do was fix our siding when we signed up but then when the guy came to measure he said we have to tape off and mud the drywall as well, why werent we told this to being with, im not a contractor i dont do that type of stuff so not only do they want $5,000 for the window and labor we also have to turn around and pay another company to fix our drywall. That is not right at all, I dont want to do business with them but basicall i am being forced to. Im going to the BBB and if it leads to it i will be contacting my attorney as well. It's nice to see companies that honor warranties. Lee came to adjust my door and added touch up paint. He went above and beyond! The business owner sent young men to track, follow, and confront me while I was running errands with my wife and 7 year old son… On a Friday night my wife and I had struck a deal with a very professional and pleasant saleswoman for which we gave a downpayment and some personal information. After the saleswoman left we reconsidered the offer and decided to cancel. We had been given cancellation slips with a strict warning that if they weren't returned by a certain time we would be charged. We checked Google and it was indicated that the business was open on Saturday from 9am-1pm. We ran some errands and stopped by the office to hand a cancellation notification in person to make sure we weren't charged. There were two doors and they were both locked, I knocked and got no answer, and there were no signs or hours listed. I called and there was no answer. Not wanting to come back to Kaukauna, I placed one cancellation notice in their mailbox and I placed another on, what looked like, a breakroom table outside of one of their doors. We drove from Kaukauna to Grand Chute to buy groceries at Meijer. We spent 20 minutes or so shopping. While I was walking to my car in the parking lot with my wife and 7 year old son, two young men got out of their car and confronted me. They asked if I was at Creative Home Technologies and what I was doing there. Their tone and manner was hostile and they asked me this before identifying themselves. I said, "Who are you?" and one young man said he was a relative of the owner. I said, "You followed me?" And they asked again what I was doing. I explained, and the young men just scowled and finally said, "The office is closed on Saturdays." I told them that Google said it was open. They scowled and walked away. Because I was confronted by two strangers, and apparently tracked and followed for a 15 minute, 11 mile drive, I called the police. I was connected to an officer who had been called by the company who saw me trying their doors on their camera. The officer said it was a misunderstanding and no one was at fault. I asked him if it was legal to send "goons" to track me down and confront me in front of my wife and child and he said something like, "I guess they took matters in their hands a little bit." I'm very glad I canceled my work with them. While I can understand their concern at someone looking around their business while it's closed, I question their problem solving and communication. Their google information is blatantly wrong. Maybe if they fixed it they wouldn't feel the need to track, follow, and confront families anymore. I was looking to replace my windows and patio door. Out of the blue a sales team stopped by the house unexpectedly and asked if I would be interested in a promotion they were offering. Todd Beaster came to my home roughly a week later, and his presentation impressed me. I was convinced I wanted to buy after he explained everything. But then I am wondering….. how much is this going to cost? When he gave me the number I was surprised, then the promotional discount in addition made it a investment I had to make. I love my new windows and the beautiful trim work they installed No more condensation, no more frost buildup, no more drafts. I want to thank, Tom, Connor and Raul for their excellent craftsmanship and they were amazing to work with! They were prompt, courageous and cleaned up everything nicely. Don’t use the home improvement store products or installers, I had so much water damage from my previous patio door. Poor quality and a bad installation. Spend a little more money for a quality product. Now I have peace of mind a beautiful vinyl windows and doors I won’t have to worry about as long as I live here. And the transferable warranty adds value to my home when I sell. I highly recommend Creative Home Technologies and was completely satisfied with the entire process. Very bad business. Signed contract for new roof and gutters beginning of October 2021. Dave Collins said that they would start in 2 weeks. They installed roof and removed gutters November 23 2021. Came to install gutters first week in December but said that it’s going to cost $2200.00 more because of the shape of my soffits. This is after 2 of their people looked at them and said no problem. They finally told me that they could do them for $500.00 less. Why did they try to charge me more then? They came to install gutters on December 11 2021 but couldn’t finish because of snowstorm. Said that they would be back in March. One of the gutter the water runs behind the gutter because they never finished them. One of the down spouts they put over the screws where my hose real goes. The ones that they did install are very poor workmanship. There was icicles on the eves when they started to install the gutters. I called end of March and the office girl said that the ground is to soft. My wife called end of April and the girl said that the owner would call the first week in May. That day has gone and no call. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on May 7th. This is May 10 2022 and no calls from them and still don’t have all the gutters installed. They removed my old ones in November of 2021.
