First and foremost, Brian and his team at GE Contracting have always been reliable, responsive, and honest local Appleton and surrounding Fox Valley general contractors. I will continue to refer GE Contracting to anyone who’s looking for exterior replacement, general contracting, remodeling, and more! Beautiful work. Great group of workers. I have not climbed up to look at the quality of the workmanship, but the roofing crew showed up on time and got right to work. It wasn't a big job, but they were very efficient. 7 hours and they were cleaned up and gone. These guys just finished our new deck and we absolutely love it! The workmanship was outstanding. The entire experience, from getting the bid from Brian to the excellent crew and then the finished product was excellent. What I really appreciated was how clean and organized the job site was through the entire build. At the end of their work day, they cleaned everything up to the point where you wouldn't know they had been here. That speaks loudly of their attention to detail and overall attitude. The deck is built like a tank and isn't going anywhere. I highly recommend these guys for any project you have in mind. Brian is a great guy to work with. I feel that you get what you pay for and I am very happy with the results. Amazing work from Brian and his team. They built a beautiful pool house for us. He set realistic expectations and had good communication along the way. There were a few minor things in other parts of our home completely unrelated to the job they were hired, that we noticed could use a professionals touch, and they took care of those things as well. I would highly recommend. We had our kitchen remodeled along with getting new doors. We are either happy with everything. They are professional and meticulous with their work. Just finished the third (or was it the fourth?) project with Brian and his Crew. And again, it was a wonderful experience - expert, quality work, tremendous flexibility working around my self-inflicted material supply challenges. Always graciously willing to allow and assist us in our desire to contribute our own labor and cost-saving efforts, as we were able. Excellent communication, always clear about where we were in the process. The best part: Brian and his crew - as well as the subcontractors with whom he works - are just plain GOOD people. Brian and his team did an amazing job! They met and exceeded our needs and requests. They even ran to pick up additional materials during the job to accommodate a last minute request that I failed to communicate prior to them starting the job. I would highly recommend GE for your deck needs! I am very happy with G.E. installing new windows in our duplex. They were very neat and considerate of our renters and working around the obstacles of people living there. They even found other damaged exterior wood and replaced it. I would recommend them and plan on using them with future projects. Brian followed through on everything promptly: returning my initial call, giving the free estimate/visit, preparing paperwork, setting construction dates. He explained the process of replacing our large deck with a Trex deck very clearly and was responsive to our needs and questions. We received 3 other estimates from other companies. Not only was GE Contracting the best value, they also seemed to be better Trex experts than other contractors we talked to. GE Contracting is small enough to have great communication on their team and with customers but large enough to have great Trex expertise across the team. The crew showed up when they said they would, cleaned up meticulously every day, and readily answered all questions. Even though some supply chain issues arose, (through no fault of theirs), they still managed to complete our deck in time for a big family reunion. So far, we are very pleased with our new deck.
