Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center is a social service agency also offering other community services, including education and wellness. Parent/Child Swim Lessons for kids between the ages of 6 months and 3 years will emphasize water readiness, water safety, and group play. As a parent or guardian, you are also a student, learning how to provide encouragement and how to instruct your child through practice. Adaptive Swim: 8 sessions Adaptive swim lessons for children aged 4-18 years old with a physical and developmental disability. Participants are taught on a one-on-one basis and focus on comfort and proficiency while in the water. A referral process must take place before scheduling the appointment. Waivers accepted. Lessons are thirty minutes once per week. Due to limited pool space, this program may not be available Monday through Thursday. The instructor will determine the schedule.
