Milwaukee Bicycle Collective, a non-profit 501(c),(3), is staffed by volunteers who provide bicycles for individuals and groups. In addition, they may provide bicycles for activities such as rides, deliveries, and other events. Instructional sessions are also available at low costs. We have endeavored to make cycling available to all since 2002. The organization has a mission to promote equity and inclusion in bicycling participation through programs targeted at underserved communities. We provide professional maintenance for your bike. Volunteers can assist with the repair of your bike's components, but it is your obligation to finish the job. DIY stands are available first come/first-served. The situation has to be improved if bikes are left standing around. The first 30 minutes are free, and a suggested donation of $5-10 per hour is required for using the tools and stands. To guarantee that there is a stand available, please call the number at the top of the page on the day of visit. Only selected events and partner organizations receive bicycles for youths. Every youth bicycle is inspected and repaired by skilled mechanics. Many of the bicycles will be completed time due to time constraints and the availability of volunteers.
