Milwaukee Health Care Partnership

Founded in 2007, the Milwaukee Health Care Partnership (MHCP) is a private/public consortium working to improve health care in Milwaukee County for low-income and underserved populations. Healthcare has the power to shape race and equity. This influence is enacted from within, by examining our policies and methods, and in relationship to the outside world, by observing how healthcare institutions interact with patients and utilize community resources. MHCP believes in health equity, the principle that every person has the right to a healthy life. To achieve health equity, racism is identified and removed, then replaced with concrete, data-driven, and evidence-backed antiracist strategies.
