Consumer Feedback Recap: 1. I have used Tiltin for multiple window replacements in my home and would recommend them very highly. Javier, the owner, does an excellent job assessing your needs and offering affordable options--he is definitely focused on meeting your needs and budget, rather than upselling you. Communication on scheduling is great, and the install teams are professional, efficient, and polite. Best of all, the windows they provide are top-notch. 2. Super impressed with pricing, service and customer service! 3. Alton was great 4. We took bids from several companies in the Milwaukee area. Lee was the representative from Tiltin Windows and Doors. He completely explained the process and the products they had to offer. He offered advice and a wealth of knowledge for our project. There was no high pressure sales tactics, just professionalism. Tiltin Windows and Doors were able to accommodate all our needs. 24 windows and 5 doors. The other companies could not or would not install the glass block window in the basement, would not install an odd-sized door on the garage and wouldn't install screen doors on our upper porch doors, stating they were off-sized doors. Tiltin took care of all of this! Javier, the owner, came out and remeasured all the doors and windows, offered advice on better ways on better options. On the day of installation his team got to work, including Javier. They were efficient, professional, and very courteous. His employees are not contractors, they work exclusively for the company. Jarid and Armonie took their time, measured twice and installed everything to our satisfaction. The products offered by all the companies that gave us bids seemed to be from the same Amish company in Indiana. Tiltin Windows and Doors beat the next closest bid by $22,000 and complete items the other companies wouldn’t do for us. Lifetime transferable warranty to boot. Needless to say my wife and I are very happy with the services provided! Thanks Javier! You and your team did a great job! 5. I had a Guy come out the day after I called to look at a back door. They had it installed in a couple days at an extremely reasonable price and a very professional job. Hopefully I don’t need any more doors, but if I do, these are my guys. 6. Anyone who is considering using their services, save yourself the time and money. Tiltin replaced the siding on our home while under the prior owner’s care. The actual date is unknown, however estimated to be approximately 2017. Requests for confirmation of the replacement date from the company have been unsuccessful. When siding began to fall off shortly after purchasing the home, we contacted them and inquired about a warranty. We were advised this is non-transferable from owner to owner and there was nothing they would do to assist. Since living here, we have experienced siding falling off the house in multiple locations. The siding install is not parallel, which results in poorly fitted pieces that fall out and will not snap back into place. Additionally, there is no flashing around any of the windows (leading to increased water exposure), and much of the siding cut near the windows, doors, and edging of the house is not cut flush and there are large gaps also posing a risk for further water exposure. What really takes the cake is the shortcuts they took on the top of the house near the roof, where the homeowner cannot see. I was only recently informed of the large gaping hole with absolutely no siding during a roofing inspection. See attached picture. Seems like a lot of corners were cut (although poorly measured). I would find... 7. I love my new windows. They are beautiful and I am satisfied with the price too. The team was kind and respectful of our home.
