Customer feedback summary: Christine D'Angelo run from the hills she's the worst lawyer I ever came across I would rather have a dog choose then this lady she's bias lazy rude words of advice do your research on kids Christine the reviews on this lady is 100 percent correct she does nothing but ruins people lives don't hire her for anything and if the courts put her on your case request a new one RUN SAVE YOURSELF FROM THIS LADY!!! I wish I can give this a zero to Christine D’Angelo think ot’s okay for a 5 year old to have to drive 2 hours to school and 2 hours back I wasn’t going write this, but she’s so unprofessional lazy rude I had to give a review all the reviews on her is completely true. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I signed her to be my Arbitrator first things first she did a horrible job we could’ve had witnesses, but she never told us we could but made sure to tell me about her fees. She rushed me to get her evidence the next day and said she will make a decision by Monday that never happened then Tuesday then Wednesday she reaches out saying she’ll have a decision by Wednesday that never happened. she get us the decision Thursday almost the afternoon even though she said she’ll have it by Thursday at 9am on Wednesday . She also had my old email address that I haven’t used for four years. Where did she get it? I have no clue but instead of copying and pasting and sending me another email to my correct email that I have been emailing her from this whole entire time she just sends me an email saying look at the forwarding email just lazy I called her office because I had questions. She didn’t speak to me, so she didn’t even know why I was calling but then sends a very nasty email lying in the email also she put my ex into the email and Told him how much evidence I gave to her, which for me was very unprofessional Christine D’Angelo said the matter is closed pretty much saying screw don’t contact her BEWARE LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS!!!! Also was crazy she didn’t even know my name sending me emails using my nickname (nickname is on email) how are you arbitrator and a lawyer? and you’re so lazy that you don’t even know the name of the person that paid you to work on their case for arbitration Don’t hire her she’s the worst If anyone ever asks me for a recommendation for a divorce lawyer I will definitely recommend ReAnna Grabow. After a long drawn out attempt at mediation with my ex husband, I hired attorney Grabow to finally end the madness. ReAnna was always quick to respond when I reached out and made the process as painless as she possibly could. I had every confidence that she was working in my best interest. In the end she was able to get everything wrapped up without us having to go to trial. Attorney Grabow has been an exceptional attorney throughout my legal journey. She has demonstrated attentiveness to my needs and concerns. She possesses an impressive ability to analyze information, see potential challenges and devise solutions. She was able to complete my contested divorce in less than six months and obtain my desired settlement. She responded very quickly to my questions and concerns and was a compassionate listener and fierce advocate. I highly recommend D’Angelo & Grabow, LLP to anyone facing a challenge involving family law. Can't say enough good things about Ms. D'Angelo and her staff! Extremely helpful, readily available, beyond knowledgeable, and VERY defensive of her clients! I've referred many people to this firm, and all have been very pleased. 5+ stars! I rank this law firm as high as it gets! These attorneys are experienced, ethical and effective. I highly recommend. I am an attorney too, and if I needed representation in Waukesha or surrounding counties, D'Angelo & Grabow would be high on my list. If I could rate a zero I would, ReAnna was not helpful I just paid a lot of money to get no where. I have never seen an attorney side with the other side because she was friends with the other attorney. Very disappointed, if you are a male or minority find a different attorney. Now that my divorce is over, I feel it's important for anyone going through it to pick the right attorney. If you are the one who will end up paying child support, or are the main bread winner, I would go with a different attorney. In my experience, Christy was not organized, not available, does not respond to emails timely. One example is a counter offer from my ex's attorney 2 weeks prior to the divorce hearing. D'Angelo sat on the counter offer for a week before sending it to me. When I confronted her, she just said sorry. The loss of one week did not allow me to fully negotiate and cost additional money. Christy is not creative with finances. The tools she uses are standard forms and calculations but she doesn't think outside the box. I spent roughly 35 thousand and did most of the work myself, redlining the agreement. She charged for every email, even emails I didn't know where taking place between the two attorney's and never received copy's. Christy missed a huge error in a stipulation revision that would have cost me an extra $1000 per month in maintenance had I not caught it before the signatures. During the summer she will take a lot of vacation and most of the time you will have to schedule a meeting with her over a week in advance. She doesn't have a paralegal working for her so you will pay full price for every interaction. She is direct in the courtroom and stands her ground. I'll give her that. The financial cost, headache, unresponsiveness, lack of care, neglect, and being unavailable when you need her is not worth the risk of what you have to lose. Christine made our mediation process very simple and streamlined. She didn't waste our time or money with unnecessary meetings or unnecessary billing. Christine was very clear and explained everything very well. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She respected our decisions and choices without judgement. Christine D'Angelo had an unprofessional, disheveled, and highly unorganized approach the entire divorce which led to adjourned hearings, sloppy incomplete documentation, extra cost and a prolonged divorce process. She often did not recall the case and had to be reminded. She was very rigid in her thinking as she saw things very black and white. Despite giving her ample documentation as to why the marital assets should not be divided equally, she fought hard to pressure me into an agreement to just that; an equal division of assets. She did not advocate on my behalf at all! She routinely used the few minutes before court to complete items that should have been done prior and talk me into an agreement that was not nearly what it should have been. I paid her a lot of money to prepare the paperwork for court rather than do any type of actual law practice. Even though she indicates when you initially hire her that she has her legal assistant doing most of the paperwork, she charges her rate and it often had errors. She took several days to get back to you and often had poor communication with the other attorney involved despite having a long-standing relationship with that attorney. I now believe there is actually such a thing as a good divorce, even though it may seem an oxymoron. Attorney ReAnna Grabow had no small part in that desirable and amicable outcome. She explained matters of law in a friendly and professional way, and helped us choose the best means to reach a marital settlement that considered my best interest and that of the children, while being fair to both sides. Also, she and Paralegal Irina Cauwels were very supportive during those times when it was difficult for me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The divorce went from start to finish in under 8 months, and most importantly, ended well. A year later, my ex and I are on good terms. Thanks to ReAnna Grabow for first-class legal representation.
