Fitzgerald Law Office Reviews Review #1: 2/13/2022 Customer feedback summary: Assigned Keith Scott Fitzgerald of the Fitzgerald Law Office in Moab, Utah, as my court-appointed appellate attorney. The experience was extremely disappointing. Throughout the entire appellate process, He offered no communication, no letters, no phone calls, and no video meetings. I was never informed about what he was filing on my behalf or what legal arguments he was making. My understanding is that the Utah Court of Appeals had to subpoena him or compel him to submit information in my case. To this day, I do not know what he filed in my appeal. I only know my appeal was denied. An appellate attorney has a duty to communicate with their client and keep them informed about the status and substance of their case. That did not happen here. As someone relying on court-appointed counsel, I felt fully left in the dark and unsupported throughout a critical stage of my legal proceedings. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this attorney or this firm. I would strongly encourage others to carefully consider their options before retaining or accepting representation from this firm. Rating: 0/10 — Would not recommend. Review #2: 1/25/2022 Fitzgerald Law has been helping our family for years. They are knowledgeable, thorough, and very easy to work with. Their advice is worth getting. Review #3: 1/1/2022 My ex wife hired Lane as her divorce attorney. I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to have him as her attorney. He was completely unprepared and didn’t know what was going on. His lack of communication and action really weighed in my favor. He didn’t seem to know what was going on or the law regarding anything. If you’re getting divorced, I’d highly recommend finding a different attorney for your own representation, but definitely suggest that you recommend hiring him for your (soon to be) ex. Seriously though, his incompetence saved me a bunch of money, although it got dragged out so long due to his inability to communicate (he straight up left a zoom meeting with a judge due to a “more important call coming in”). He never prepared any documents or paperwork for his client and seemed to struggle with the concept of responding to an agreement proposal. To make sure I’m clear here, I used a different attorney for my divorce attorney, they were great.
