Victor Golubkov, a Russian-trained dancer who has over 30 years of experience in international ballroom dancing and performing on stage is an accomplished dancer. Victor Golubkov's most notable results include the Open Malaysia Championship winner, World Championship semi-finalist for 10 dances, and the Open Championship prize in Italy, both in International Standard dance as well as Latin American. Victor has also spent over 15 years in intensive dance teaching, mentoring, and management. Victor has also achieved other teaching and dance accomplishments including a Master in Pedagogics and a Certified adjudicator of ballroom and Latin dance sports competitions. Victor Golubkov began working at Arthur Murray Victoria BC in August 2012. He decided in June 2014 to pursue his passion for ballroom dance and open his own school, VGdance. His students have shown great success in international competitions, including in Canada and the USA. The method we use to teach dance relies on a thorough theoretical understanding of dance, sport, and development. Our students are encouraged to be bold and try new things. It is always exciting and fun.
