Since 1987, I became a National Lifeguard and NLS Waterpark. My experience includes working at beaches as well as in municipal pools on the Lower mainland. My experience includes teaching diving, water fitness and working with waterbabies. It was difficult to teach in big box pools after many years of teaching in municipal pools. Too many children per lesson. This makes learning how to swim difficult for many. My teaching style is also more mature because I'm a parent. Only mature, caring instructors are hired. My passion is swimming. Swimming is not just a sport, it's a way to live. Learning to swim can be fun and enjoyable for children aged 1-4. Aside from opening up a world of water for adults, I also hope to make it easier for those who were too afraid to try water in the past. It is private and warm, with an average temperature of 88 to 89 degrees. Swimming is the focus. Another key element is building trust with your coach. Each learner will be able to share their hopes, fears and concerns with the coach. You are our partner. This session focuses on specific stroke technique improvement. To help improve your movement efficiency through water, real-time video feedback is provided above and below the water.
