Unique exhibition space The Anna hosts professional exhibitions from curators, professional artists, and NSCAD MFA thesis and BFA graduation solo exhibitions. As an extension of NSCAD's pedagogical programs, the Anna offers emerging artists the opportunity to gain hands-on exhibition experience. Over 100 exhibitions are held at the Gallery each year. It also hosts over 70 other events. The gallery attracts more than 22,000 people annually. The Anna Leonowens Gallery Systems addresses three key priorities. (a) To provide students an opportunity to exhibit their creative work as part of their academic program, and to be "criticized" by other members of the university.
