Hugo was devoted to his community and family and lived as an artist for both. Hugo taught art for 20 years and became a friend, mentor, and teacher to many. Please visit his Gallery Page to see more of his artwork. Hugo updated his gallery each time he completed a painting, sold, or donated artwork. Hugo's Gallery is exactly how he left it. This includes values for 2020, and sold notices. The remaining works are not available for purchase and now belong to his private collection. Biographies tend to highlight the most important events in someone's life. It's only natural that if I had to do one, it would be self-serving. You can't do this without talking about the positives. This is why I'll be brief and instead tell you about my experience as an artist over the years. It's not something you become overnight. Start with something that seems unimportant. All of it began in my childhood. As a young child, I remember the characters, histories, and myths of distant ships with ghostly pirates or beautiful mermaids. The color of the sea and mountain was always close to me. In the mind of a young child, I remember the vast tables of colors seen in the mountains. The fields of wheat and corn were also there. And the vineyards seemed to stretch forever. I began my career as an artist with the smell of grass, eucalyptus, and rain.

The Drop Spot Studio, an art gallery located in the Drinkle 3 Building, on Treaty 6 Land, is situated at 117 3rd Ave S. The Drop Spot was created by Kristen Boye and Greg Orre. It is open to artists from all fields of art, whether they are emerging professionals launching their first exhibition or emerging professional artists performing an acoustic surprise set. Sunny's birth inspired Kristen Boye & Greg Orre to pursue their dream and open an art gallery. They wanted to support their careers as artists, while also connecting others with the art they loved. The Drop Wall will refer to one wall of The Drop Spot. The wall will be a rotating display of 6-8 artists. The artists will be dropping new works on a wall measuring 3' x 3'. The drops can contain multiple pieces or a single original work. The drops are available to purchase online and in stores, but they will stay on display for at least five weeks and four days. Michael is a University of Saskatchewan Graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and is currently pursuing certification to teach Visual Arts. Before opening his own studio and teaching private lessons, he taught art in the rural Saskatchewan high school system as well as at the City of Saskatoon Recreation Department. Michael's Computer Graphics is used in silkscreen prints, computerized embroideries, signs, business cards, and advertisements as well as for a variety of other commercial purposes. Michael Martin's landscapes, portraits, and cityscapes have been praised for their realism, technical skill, and a strong sense of style. Michael J. Martin's artworks can be found in many private collections in Canada, Japan, and the U.S. Original artworks are displayed in this creative art studio.
