Reliable Artelier Studios - The Paint Spot instructors are known to be kind, intelligent, and ready to give information while assisting others. We support newcomers and intermediate artists at The Artelier School. The lessons are provided in a variety of mediums, including watercolors, oils, paints, pastels, collages, fabric painting, printing, fabric dyeing, and sketching. These methods offer a range of materials and methods for working. We cover the basics of landscape, portrait, still life, and abstract painting, as well as themes such as the elements and principles of design, color theory, spatial space, and personal style. Bring family or a group of friends to class. Many of the classes are for both children and adults, from kids as young as six to mature adults as old as 120. So it still can be a full family experience. This is a fun way to spend a day. The Artelier classroom is a 20-minute walk from The Paint Spot, but it's convenient parking. Client art supplies can be combined at a 20% discount for all courses after registration. Adult courses are open to older youth ages 12 and up. The classroom is wheelchair accessible and air-conditioned. Due to minimal space, our washrooms are little and inappropriate for wheelchairs. The Research Station is conveniently situated at Box 133, Lamont, AB, T0B 2R0. The station is a 55-minute drive away
