Since 1974, Canterbury Foundation has offered the Promise of Homes to senior citizens in Edmonton, and we provide stunning two-bedroom homes for them. We are nestled in the upscale neighbourhood of Laurier Heights. Three options are available for retirement living. Seniors have access to health services, recreation programs, and numerous amenities. Meals are served, and laundry and housekeeping are done by staff. Registered nurses are on-site 24/7. We also offer a variety of activities and programs for our seniors. Canterbury provides all these services to make Edmonton's seniors feel safe, secure, and happy, enjoying a great quality of life. The Canterbury Foundation features numerous very positive reviews for their friendly, caring staff and incredible activities. A client's full spring internship with the staff demonstrated how they handled an emergency well. They moved everybody out and handled a terrifying situation all together. Such actions showed a real caring nature for those who live there. Their kindness is shown in the acceptance of family members who got scared and needed to visit for support. Clinical staff is always available to assist in any way that they can. The staff is extremely loving and perfectly bonded with residents which provides a delightful home ambiance. The place is referred to as a home away from home because of the high excellence in the love and service from the staff. One of the best ways to enrich one's life is to have personal care givers. This is what they provide. Their beautiful, serene courtyard has an activities program that keeps me always doing something. The beauty of the place is an added thing. And so it has been a great experience for me. It's strongly suggested. It's a really nice place for anyone to reside. Staff are friendly and very caring.
