BIOGRAPHY: Theresa is the owner and creator of Etudes Dance Studio. Theresa Krishka began her dance training at the age of 3 in B.C. She started her dance program when she was three years old in various dance schools around B.C. She appeared in several dance conferences and workshops and participated in dance competitions where she won many medals. Theresa is proficient in Ballet and Pointe; Jazz, Tap; Lyrical, Contemporary; Musical Theatre, and Gymnastics; Hip Hop. She has also entertained for years in the Czech Opera Balls and the Vienna Opera Balls, and with the Etudes Performing Company. Theresa is a Victoria Fine Arts Dance Program alumna and a University of Alberta Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Psychology (with a specialization in child psychology) graduate. Theresa's teaching experience goes beyond just being a teacher to being a teacher as well. In her 27 years of teaching and her six years of study, she brings her passion and commitment to teaching her students. Etudes Performing Company is a performance company that Theresa designs. Most Edmonton Public Schools are toured by the company with shows like The Villains of Disneyville and Frozen. In addition to The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, the company performs other productions. Theresa says she has choreographed over 700 dances for Etudes Spring Shows, competitions, festivals, Talent Shows, and many school shows. About Us
