I am a co-founder of Paneficio Studios, a small gallery located in the same building. My space is used for artist get-togethers, open studio events, and art nights. This includes the www.firstsaturday.ca event where over 100 artists open their studios to the public. Paneficio Studios has a community mandate to assist East van artists, and we use our windows to communicate with the public. I have been presenting artists in each of my storefront windows since 2015. These have ranged from mixed media, photography, and assemblage to studio furniture. Arnt, I, and others were also involved in the creation of two other artist buildings in Vancouver in the early 90s. These buildings are still in use today by many artists. One is on Franklin Street, home to many artists, including Franc Gallery and White Monkey.
