Booth University College

Booth University College is an institution that has been in existence for 156 years in Winnipeg (Manitoba), Canada. We have a rich history of helping the most disadvantaged people in the society around the world. Our college is Christian. Our faith is not just lived out in rhetoric; it is expressed through service to others. We combine Christian faith with serious academic inquiry as an institution that is firmly rooted in both the Church's practice and the Christian intellectual tradition. Our role in the society, therefore, is to challenge the status quo, seek for answers to the most complex questions, and democratize the elite knowledge that has been used to exploit the most vulnerable in society. The university offers a wide range of academic programs and courses. We have a mission is to change the world by changing lives, so we ensure our students are well-versed in literature, philosophy, history, and other areas in this fast-changing world. Our students are equipped with a firm foundation that allows them to continue their inquiries into their areas of interest. Our alumni are better individuals and citizens due to the broad knowledge of humanity they receive, whether in the social sciences or the humanities. We encourage all students to be prepared to embrace this knowledge within a biblical worldview. We encourage our students to be able to answer complex issues in the modern world with the support of experienced faculty members and instructors.
