The University of Winnipeg, a dynamic downtown Winnipeg campus that promotes global citizenship and embraces people of varying backgrounds and traditions, is a thriving and culturally rich community. Our undergraduate and graduate degree programs are of premium quality, many of which are unavailable in other parts of Western Canada. For example, we offer a Human Rights BA and a Development Practice MA with a specialization in Indigenous Development. The small class sizes, academic rigor, and commitment to Indigenous inclusion at UWinnipeg make it a great place to learn. Over 2,000 students, professors, and staff use the Richardson College for the Environment & Science Complex daily. Our innovative faculty, students, and graduate researchers are studying the most pressing challenges of our time, particularly the environmental risks posed by climate change and isotope production. The Axworthy Health and RecPlex, an advanced facility, offers new research and practicum opportunities for students in education, kinesiology, and applied health. Both RecPlex and Richardson College provide recreation and sports programs to students, Wesmen athletes, and the greater community.
