This is the University of Winnipeg, a lively downtown campus that promotes intercultural development and community building. UWinnipeg has offered high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs for over 50 years. We offer unique programs that you won't find anywhere else in Western Canada. For example, we have a BA in Human Rights and an MDP (Master in Development Practice) with a focus on Indigenous Development. Our commitment to excellent education, small class sizes and Indigenous inclusion make UWinnipeg a great place to study. Over 2,000 students, faculty and staff use the Richardson College for the Environment & Science Complex each day. Our widely recognized faculty, students, and graduate researchers are dedicated to researching and solving the most complex problems facing us: climate change and isotope production. The Axworthy Health and RecPlex is a modern, scientifically equipped building that offers research and practicum opportunities for students enrolled in education, kinesiology and applied health. The RecPlex provides recreation and sports programs for both students, Wesmen athletes, and the public.

The place is a favorite for many who enjoys the serene environment available in the library. From a strategic location, the library offers panoramic city views, ample reading materials, and easy access to computers. Especially for students in the University, its layout and resources are second to none in the city. The existence of quiet, private reading areas with free Wi-Fi, welcoming library staff, and amenities like a phone charging station leaves students craving to always come back. More so, the users compare the library to a fictional movie due to its peculiar peninsular form. The Harry Potter kind of construction with good books in all of its corners makes students who require assistance in research to enjoy the scene. But, the library is also said to provide the student with ample reading resources for all levels of studies, including research papers.
