I graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature degree. My law degree is from Queen's University. I was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1992 after articling in Toronto at a small litigation practice. In 1998, I decided to escape my small-town upbringing and moved to Banff, Alberta, for a change of scenery. I was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2004. From 2006-2011, I practiced law in Banff with Eric Harvie Law Office. To be near my extended family and friends, I decided to move to Guelph in 2011. I was an associate with Ted Farley, Farley Law Office until December 2016. I really enjoy singing in the University of Guelph Symphonic Choir and volunteering at the local animal shelter when I am not working. I also practice yoga and go to the Guelph YMCA/YWCA.
