About this business
Canada's trust is a key driver of its technology innovation. Technology organizations must remember their impact on people, society, and our planet.
Being a part of Communitech membership does not mandate commitment to Tech for Good principles. Organizations and companies that choose to join Communitech's innovation ecosystem must be prepared to adopt such principles.
The Tech for Good Declaration was published at True North Festival 2018. The signing organizations include Communitech, the Rideau Hall Foundation, the Governor General and other Canadians. The declaration aims to stimulate a discussion among Canadians on the meaning and value of Tech for Good. It also contains a toolkit that all signing organizations can use.
We are a small group of 100 people at Communitech. We work closely with one another, and each person brings unique skills to the group.
We embrace our mission and values as the foundation of our strategic decision-making. Our senior leadership team is accountable and adheres to the guidance of our Board.
