The Department boasts a first-rate facility that includes both large and small computer labs as well as printmaking and photography areas. It also has a gallery and open studio area. Art History classes are taught in lecture and seminar rooms that have the latest technology. The Ivey Library is a digital resource center with the most advanced technologies in North America. The Museum and Curatorial Studies degree gives students practical experience in curating and working with exciting cultural institutions. Studio, Art History and Museum, and Curatorial Studies are home to ambitious academics and artists who have worked in a variety of fields, including contemporary and historical art theory and practice. The Department offers strong, well-recognized graduate and undergraduate programs. It also has strong extracurricular commitments.
