Physics & Astronomy at Western strive for teaching and research excellence. Physics & Astronomy is ever-evolving, as are the disciplines. We are distinct because of our broad research in medical physics, medical science, and astrophysics. The Physics & Astronomy Department is celebrated for its interdependence between professors and students. It provides a wide range of high-impact professional learning and exciting student opportunities. We recognize and celebrate diversity as an asset at all departmental levels.
