I was referred to Paws Avenue and want to warn others to STAY AWAY! This groomer will take the easy way out because they don’t know your dog breed, and would shave your 5 month old puppy until her pink skin was visible without even a phone call to ask if you would consent, to which I would never agree to! When I pointed out that I should have been consulted regardless of how “matted she was”, Evelyn gave me an impatient eye roll and said “you said you wanted short” and “how would you like to pay!!” I also said I wanted her body fur long and there is no excuse for not consulting me before you decide you can traumatized my puppy this way and then put the blame on me. My puppy was shaking when I saw her at the grooming table. Ellen clearly does not understand this breed of dog for her to have shaven my Coton de Tulear down this way. The worst thing is the unprofessional attitude which shows disregard for the dog as well as disrespect for the owner. NEVER going back and leaving this comment here to save others from the horrible experience. Read the other negative reviews and the unprofessional attitude is consistent as long as there is an issue with them.
