ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

When and Where Was Etobicoke School of the Arts Founded? The establishment of this specialized art school took place on the 8th of September, 1981, and continues to operate in the Toronto district. Etobicoke School of the Arts is also the oldest arts high school in the country, and it is also the first freestanding art high schooling Canada. Students can engage with contemporary art and dance in addition to drama, film, and instrumental music through specialized programs. They may also join a variety of extracurricular events. ESA is a dynamic learning environment, and it is always buzzing. The academic curriculum features a vast number of courses in maths, sciences, languages, and social sciences, as well as the opportunity to major in arts. The school awards the students an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. More than eighty percent of graduates pursue university-level education in disciplines such as engineering, music, or the life sciences. Other alumni may also enroll in journalism, drama, film, journalism, or philosophy. Many of our students have been admitted to post-secondary institutions, including universities, colleges, and art schools in North America and other parts of the world.
