Conservatory Of Performing Arts

Since 1912, the Conservatory of Performing Arts has been a prominent institution in Southern Saskatchewan. Established in 1912, this organization has been providing art education for over 100 years. The Conservatory of Performing Arts continues to connect people with their passions through engaging and affordable art education offerings for learners of all ages and skills. The Conservatory's educational vision is based on a value system that encourages respect, kinship, and inclusivity. The Conservatory believes that all people should have equal access to the arts and that active participation in those activities is essential to building a healthy, cohesive community. Faculty and staff at the Conservatory are led by the belief that the arts can enrich the lives of all participants. It also offers group and individual instruction for people of all ages. The first performance hall in Regina in the early 1900s was the home of the Regina Conservatory of Performing Arts, and the company is now part of the University of Regina Centre for Continuing Education. Faculty members are professionals and teachers who perform with the Regina Symphony Orchestra and other professional groups. The Conservatory has alumni who have succeeded in many fields, including music, education, law, business, and management.
