Creative Concepts & Counseling Bev Dyck, M.A., is married with four children adopted by her husband and is an experienced, skilled Counselor. Her approach is direct. Still, she is friendly, open, and engaging, offering client-centered counseling with a strong educational component. Bev believes that people can do better when they are better at doing things. She advocates mutual respect in her work with a solution-oriented approach. Bev has provided family counseling since 1997. She has Adlerian Parenting Groups training and has facilitated many parenting classes, including "The Spirited Child", Anger - The Misunderstood Emotion", "Positive Discipline", "Parenting of Teens", Bullying", Eating Disorders, "The Blended Family", and others. She also does workplace intervention and trauma debriefing. Bev is also a part-time pastor. Bev is trained and equipped to help with Christian and secular counseling. Bev can assist individuals and their families with marriage counseling and premarital coaching, as well as with women’s issues; co-dependency; parenting issues, working with children: Spirited; ADHD; Discouraged, Assertiveness, Personality Profiles (particularly useful in career counseling), anger management, eating disorders, addictions, grief and loss, and healing after trauma. Bev is a good listener and can work with all ages. Bev connects easily with people and is also especially liked by children and teenagers. EMI - Eye Movement Integration - A process that is fast becoming useful in trauma, past or present, observed trauma, and ongoing problems, is also available.
