LARC opened its doors on April 1, 2014, as the first centrally located Language Assessment Centre in Saskatchewan. IWS History IWS was incorporated as a charity in 1985. Its mission is to enhance immigrants’ and newcomer women’s lives in Saskatoon, as well as their families, by assisting them in becoming fully contributing Canadian citizens. Our many years of existence have given us valuable experience. We have a sound organizational capacity that aids the integration and settlement of Saskatoon residents into Canadian society. Experience and Capacity We have operated LINC programs for many years. We have a thorough understanding of them and can run the LARC Project professionally. Also, we have the needed capacity to support the language needs of clients through assessment and referrals. Roles and Responsibilities IWS will align with and support the LARC Project's desired outcomes by providing client-centered, coordinated care. Moreover, it will provide community leadership and collaborate with LINC providers and other stakeholders to achieve the target outcomes.
