Art Studio Kathy Taylor's bio Kathy Taylor (b. 1955) is an Intuitive, Mixed Media Artist. She has studied with many artists throughout her career, but she credits Dick Phillips as her greatest influence and mentor. Her work is grounded in the influences of her formative years in Southern California and the Los Angeles area. In 2007, Kathy founded Studio 6020 in Phoenix, Arizona, where she continues to nurture emerging artists through creative development classes. The desert is her home, and she draws inspiration from the beauty of the landscape around her. She considers herself to be a "truth seeker,' with her 35-year career as a professional artist dedicated to personal development and the exploration of the inner workings of the mind.
