Dr. Ballard attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California, and received her D.D.S. in 2007. Dr. Ballard went through oral and Maxillofacial residency after dental school. Dr. Ballard was part of a team of surgeons and dentists who rebuilt the faces of injured troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan during her residency. From this experience, Dr. Ballard realized the psychological aspects of face aesthetics and the potential of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He spent the following two years in prosthodontic apprenticeship in South Korea, another aesthetic capital. Dr. Ballard returned to the US in 2010 where he runs a private restorative, orthodontic, and implant practice called Downtown Phoenix Dental
