Reviews I am writing this review based entirely on my personal experience. I hired Mr. Brooks for probate related work, and my experience was extremely negative. He works from home and also visited our home, and after what happened within my case, I strongly recommend that anyone who hires him be very cautious and make sure everything is documented. Clear and transparent. This way, you will be in a better position to ensure accountability since, in my case, I felt that boundaries were not respected. To protect others, I had to file a formal complaint with the State Bar. I want other people to be aware and to protect themselves, their privacy, and their belongings when allowing any professional into their home. This review is merely my honest experience and why I chose to file a complaint. Outstanding service!!! After many years of procrastination, we finally hired Zev Brooks to update our family trust. He was very helpful walking us through the tangled mess of trust paperwork. Zev is very efficient in his use of the conference calls, and coming to our house saved us a lot of time. He is more than competitive with other lawyers on his fees. The explanation of what should be in the trust and what is not was very complete and beneficial. We have recommended Mr. Brooks to our children and also to friends. Our daughter used him and highly recommended him to us. It is a great relief to have this behind us.
