My name is Chris Duncan, X Games pro BMXer and main mechanic of Hooptybikes. My initiation into cycling began when my dad showed me a Diamond Back Viper. This Diamond Back Viper BBMX bike was my first ride and would sit in the backyard every single day after school. 10 years after then, I was schooling in professional BMX dirt jumps. My complete passion moved me to effortlessly perform superman methods and 360 variations of the 2000s. Being recognized for my role in a PlayStation BMX video game, setting three world records, and repairing bikes of all my rivals has been some of my career highlights. I have shared this passion through different classes and speeches about mountain biking and urban cycling alongside Q&As. Hooptybikes became an idea in summer 2009 when I fixed up old road bikes in my garage and started a business in San Francisco. I moved Hooptybikes to Los Angeles in 2015. My love for restoring classic road bikes needed an outlet for other bicycle-related activities, and my business was born.  The same passion and skill that I used to restore classic road bikes, has grown the business into LA's most trusted mobile bike repair and assembly service.
