The Big Open Space Dance

The Big Open Space Dance offers the TheaterDance, a unique dance program that focuses on Musical Theater Dancing. In the TheaterDance, students take part in a study of Broadway Dancing from 1920 to now. There is a class for the school year, each with four different levels, from beginners who have never danced to advanced students who are preparing to audition for college dance programs. You can dance just to have fun, improve your musical theater skills, or take a class that will help you become a better performer. Our diverse dance program allows dancers to acquire proficiency in various forms of dance. The program includes jazz, ballets, lyricals, contemporary dances, hip-hop, period dances, world dances, master choreographers, and a lot of original Broadway repertoire. TBOS Galas will be held at the end of each school year. All students are invited to the optional Galas. We offer an intensive based on performance for students who want to concentrate their efforts in a dance musical.
