BalletCenter Studios

Founded in 1996, BalletCenter Studios is a comprehensive training center structured for each student's unique needs. We place students in classes that are suitable for them based on their progress and ability, rather than their age. This allows us to customize our services to meet the evolving needs and schedules of the students’ lives. Our studio in Mission Hills has been serving the San Diego area for over 25 years. The studio draws from our diverse faculty to pick a program that includes professional instructors in Ballet, Choreography, Contemporary, and recreational practices, to name a few. Available for those who are 3 years old and up, the program provides courses that cater to every level: pre-professional ballet, creative movement, pre-ballet, the first exposure to ballet for adult students, and professional dancers. The studio's curriculum is largely based on French and Vaganova techniques and immediately marries the best of contemporary dance science. Students will be able to examine dance holistically, including terminology and expertise in various styles as well as how their bodies work. This strategy is aimed at improving the technical capacity and endurance of students. Placement, line, and sustainability are emphasized. Recreational classes are available to all students who want to participate, and additional training is available for the most serious students. Teamwork, coordination, concentration, and community are the fundamental aspects of our classes, which also offer adult classes suited to every skill level.
