These funds support education and vocational training, fair mining practices, child labor prohibition, and the rehabilitation of land damaged by irresponsible mining. In 2015, we funded a Brilliant Earth Mobile School in Democratic Republic of Congo. These schools provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children who might otherwise work in the local diamond mines.
