ABOUT   Services Excellence Summary

Company Overview Pacific Auxiliary Fire Alarm Co., Founded in 1889, the oldest local fire alarm company on the West Coast, is a full-scale equipment maintenance company for most brands of fire alarms. The company has modern systems for everyone, from small apartment owners to large commercial buildings. It can fix most of the systems with no drawings or other technical data on sites. It's technical team can diagnose most systems, old and new, without using drawings. The company provides honest service at affordable prices and gets its equipment and parts from manufacturers while still in stock. The staff are knowledgeable about building codes, and they provide prices and systems that meet or exceed the codes. A Brief History PAFA's staff must work hard on older systems that are impossible to repair as if they were in one manufacturer's new systems. PAFA believes that this is in the best interests of its clients. PAFA also understands when to tell its clients that a new system would be more appropriate. Part of the SF City Plan of 1889 Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco granted Pacific Auxiliary Fire Alarm Company a franchise certain to connect interior pull station manual to the city street boxes during the company's first year. PAFA still possesses a Fire Alarm Connection Permit given by the City and County San Francisco. San Francisco was the first large city in the West Coast with a street call system that could signal the Fire Department from the interior pull station. This was due to PAFA's efforts. PAFA's many employees, as well as the fire alarm industry, have benefitted from that system. PAFA is thus a proud member of California Automatic Fire Alarm Association, Inc., the WBFAA board of directors, as well as AFAA, which is an international trade association of these important associations. We Answered the City's First Call in 1889 PAFA was called upon by the City San Francisco back in 1889. PAFA is still here and continues to respond to calls for you. We will be here for many years to come.
