about the School of Cleveland Ballet in Cleveland Ohio. Kellie became the Cleveland Civic Ballet Company's youngest dancer when she was 15. She rose from a corps de ballet member at the New West Ballet Theatre in San Diego to soloist. Later, she appeared as a soloist with the California Ballet Company, State Ballet of Oregon, and State Street Ballet of Santa Barbara. She was also a soloist and guest artist with Escuela Cubana de Ballet for three seasons. Kellie has a broad repertoire and strong classical background. Throughout her professional life, she performed many roles. The following is a partial list of the ballets she has designed, choreographed, and performed: "A Mid-Summer Night's Dream," (also acted as a character), "Peter & the Wolf," The Nutcracker," Alice in Wonderland," Cinderella," and "Sleeping Beauty." she has staged many classics, including "Giselle" and "Swan Lake," and created her own contemporary works. Kellie has a CPA certificate and a BS in Accounting from Cal State San Marcos in San Diego. During the decade she spent developing SFYBA, she worked as an accountant for BASE Energy, Inc., San Francisco's financial district. Kellie continues to advance her teaching skills and strives to provide a beneficial experience for students of all ages and levels.
