Higher Education Resource Services (HERS)

In 1972, Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) was established; it serves as a hub and network of resources for women who aspire to effect change in their institutions and themselves. HERS has made significant strides in advancing women in higher education for nearly five decades. HERS also recognizes that there are many milestones ahead of us and the need for continuous work to diversify and provide equal opportunities for higher education leadership at colleges and universities. HERS (Higher Education Resource Services), a leadership and research organization dedicated to building and sustaining a diverse network of women-identified higher education leaders, offers program participants transformative opportunities and experiences that help build stronger institutions of higher learning. HERS believes that women must be leaders, not simply have a voice or perspective.
