Customer Feedback Summary for Life Time: Feedback 1: The gym is clean and well-kept. The parking situation is bad - not enough spots, very tight space, and no direct access to gym from the parking forcing you to go outside. The sauna is on a smaller side and the way it is built the benches collect dirt between planks. Towels are also super thin, feel cheap and are not absorbing well (other locations have better ones). Feedback 2: Great clean gym. I definitely recommend Hot Yoga lead by Aleecia. The Cafe has good healthy food and there is a great lounge if you need a quiet place to get work done. Complaint 3: Huge disappointment, paying more than 200 dollars a month you would expect some sort of decency with staff but no, they can be extremely rude and unkind, especially Jeff, you would think someone that you see so often in the front greeting people would have better manners and would be more helpful but the people that stock the towels and clean the lockers will be more of use when you need absolutely anything, and don’t let me get started on how inconsistent this gym is. Weight are never re racked, steam room smells bad 50% of the time and parking is absolutely awful but I can see through those things, the least i expect paying so much for this gym is some decent treatment, please consider going to ANY other location. staff will literally make you want to switch gyms like I did Feedback 4: I love this gym but the parking absolutely sucks and it’s not fair that I pay over $300 a month to find no parking half the time. They really should’ve thought this through when building the gym. Feedback 5: This is one of the best gyms in Fairfield County (if not, the best). Very clean with abundant facilities - machines, classes, equipment, etc., The instructors/coaches are fantastic - lots of variety, attentive, fun, and inspiring. Like many reviews have noted, the parking situation is not great and definitely an area for improvement. Feedback 6: Worth every penny. Easily the nicest and CLEANEST gym in CT. I go here twice a day before and after work! Feedback 7: Love the gym, love the classes and instructors (please never get rid of spin classes) BUT they have sold way too many memberships! The parking lot is ALWAYS packed to the point where I've had to actually buy parking next door. I also wish their products in the bathroom were more luxurious for the price. Feedback 8: Nice gym, modern equipment and great fitness classes. Overcrowded at times, and lacking in the cleanliness department. Very positive experiences with staff, specifically Emily at the concierge desk. Feedback 9: This is one of the best gyms I’ve ever been a member of. I joined in 2023 and have had a wonderful experience ever since. The staff is so helpful and friendly, love Chanya & Emily at the front desk! The other members and environment is great. I can’t recommend Life Time enough it’s been a pleasure. Feedback 10: I have been a member at Life Time for over two years and have loved the experience. From spin classes, to summers at the pool the staff (especially Jen, Jeff and Emily) and members have been a pleasure to be around! 5/5 stars for the best gym in Stamford! Feedback 11: Life Time is the best gym in Fairfield County with classes that rival every boutique fitness studio you’ll find in the area. I especially want to acknowledge Emily who is the resident and member concierge. She is committed to giving members and residents the best experience possible and is always so professional and dedicated to welcoming everyone to Life Time, when she’s in and out of the club! She takes the time to get to know everyone and follow up with their experiences at the club. We are so lucky to have her! Same can be said about Jen, Jeff, and Chanya! Love them all Complaint 12: I would like to share some concerns regarding the professionalism of one of the staff members at this gym E.M. While I appreciate the overall environment and services, I believe it’s important to maintain a standard where all members feel comfortable and respected. On several occasions, I have observed this (married) staff member engaging in behavior outside of work that seems inconsistent with professional standards, including pursuing overly personal or flirtatious interactions with gym members (and building residents). This creates an impression of blurred boundaries between staff and clientele. Additionally, within the gym itself, her interactions with members appear to vary significantly depending on her personal opinion of them. This can result in some members feeling unwelcome or uncomfortable, which undermines the inclusive and professional atmosphere that the Lifetime brand should promote. I am sharing this feedback not to be personal, but to encourage consistent professionalism among all staff so that members can enjoy a neutral, respectful, and supportive environment. Feedback 13: Unfortunately the Best gym in Stamford; with no other choice if you want a decent gym with good equipment, this is the best. My biggest pet peeve here is the floors and equipment. Hair everywhere, I don’t think they clean the equipment or the floors at all. It’s pretty gross and unfortunate for what you are paying. Disagree 14: Agree with the poster about the resident concierge (EM). Anyone who behaves like that at their job usually gets disciplined or terminated. Pool access should be taken away. There are some great people that work at the club, but she is not one of them. She ruins the experience. No class or professionalism.
