About The Art Loft The Art Loft in Jacksonville is a 1500+ square foot art studio. The Art Loft is located on the rural West Side of Jacksonville, not too far from Pine Forest Elementary School. This studio provides a place for students to escape stress and create art freely, without judgment. Adults and children can learn to draw and paint at The Art Loft, and no experience is required. Carrie Keene teaches lessons in the studio and online. Carrie Keene, a local artist and teacher, is the owner and instructor of The Art Loft. She believes that anyone can learn to draw and paint with the right instruction. Carrie Keene has a master's in education and has taught for over twenty years. She received the Memphis Wood Excellence in Teaching Award from the Museum of Contemporary Art in Jacksonville, and she was Teacher of the Year in the local district school.
