As a military child, my family relocated many times, and I learned how to adjust early. I cantered on the constants while progressing forward amidst the uncertainty and change. I have also had my share of life happenings that have been miserable. I want to connect with you, and let you know that I’ve lost a lot, gained some things, and different experiences have shaped me. I have had a lot of practical experience with adversity. I was encouraged to help, inspire and challenge my clients to maintain healthy mindsets and achieve success. Unfortunately, life happened again, and I felt stuck. I felt overwhelmed. However, as I was already a certified professional coach since 2016, I knew this was an opportunity to pivot. In 2017, I founded Makeala Addell Life Coaching to help people tackle their overwhelm! Today, I work with people to help them uncover their roadblocks, clarify their goals, and paint a picture of what they want their success to be.回After feeling a bit lost and inconsistent, and overwhelmed, I decided to invest in myself and got my professional certification in coaching. Through my coaching practice, I have achieved my own version of success. For the past 18 years, coaching, mentoring, advising, and guiding adults and high school students about their expectations, habits, and beliefs and how they affect their outcomes, has been both enjoyable and fulfilling. My personal and professional experiences have convinced me that coaching is both enlightening and liberating, and I am excited to share this experience with you.
