NASAD-accredited, the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design at Georgia State University offers a diverse and rigorous curriculum. The faculty is global, and the programming covers design, education, history, and art history. Field-specific knowledge is gained in interdisciplinary conversations, which challenge students to think critically and produce art dynamically. Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design has studio art concentrations in its undergraduate and graduate curricula and also allows students to customize their artwork through emphases. Ceramics, Drawing and Painting, Printmaking, Graphic Design and Interior Design, Photography, and Textiles are among the choices. State-of-the-art semi-private and private studio accommodations for 24-hour access enable students to widen their understanding and research in their selected fields. For each discipline, there are studios with 3D and laser-cut printers, woodshops, metal shops, and iron forges. Screen printers and litho presses are also available. There is also a darkroom, a dye studio, weaving looms, and sewing machines. Visit the Resources page to read more about the resources.
